Cookie Policy
Last updated: 11 May 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how SR Solicitors ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the site owners. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels.
2. The cookies we use
We use a small number of cookies on this Site. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not sell your data.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the Site to function. They cannot be disabled.
- session_id — used to keep authenticated admin users signed in. Only set after a valid admin login.
Functional cookies
- theme (stored in local storage) — remembers your light/dark mode preference between visits.
- cookie_consent (stored in local storage) — records your choice in the cookie consent banner so we don't show it again.
Analytics cookies
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. This tool is privacy-focused, anonymises IP addresses, does not use cross-site tracking, and complies with GDPR without requiring consent. It collects:
- Page views and referrer information.
- Approximate location (country/region).
- Device type and browser.
No personally identifiable information is collected, and no advertising profiles are built. You can find out more on the Vercel Analytics documentation page.
We also use Google Analytics to measure how the Site is found and used. These cookies are only set if you accept non-essential cookies via the consent banner — they are not loaded if you decline. IP addresses are anonymised. Google Analytics sets the following cookies:
- _ga — distinguishes individual visitors. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_<container-id> — used to persist session state. Expires after 2 years.
You can read more in Google's Privacy Policy, or opt out across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
3. Your cookie choices
When you first visit the Site, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the cookie consent banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser cookies for this Site, after which the banner will reappear on your next visit.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect how the Site works. Most browsers offer guidance on managing cookies in their help section:
4. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date of the most recent update shown at the top.
5. Contact us
